The Mountain Guardians

Aston is a guardian in training who the grand guardian of the mountain selected. Born strong at a base camp, Aston's father wanted him to become a fighter and permanently destroy his enemies. His mother was more peaceful; she always told her son that situations shouldn't unfold into violence. For her, violence should be the last resort. When selected to become a future mountain guardian, the grand guardian explained how once he leaves his life as an ordinary being, he won't be able to return to his everyday routine. His parents believed it was best for him to go since they knew Aston would only develop a minor living at such a poor base camp. Aston's purpose became to make his parents proud and to achieve greatness. He struggles to know whether to fight or bring peace. Still, he'll grow and eventually understand the right decision for the situation.

Koe Yamai is a villain and power-hungry individual who is a descendant of 'Pure Calamity.' Born poor and raised by abusive parents, he sought to learn the dark arts to feel stronger and overcome his past. Koe was sought out by pure calamity, who promised to award him the power he wanted once he demolished the artifact meant to destroy 'Pure Calamity.' Koe Yamai is a very sadistic being and won't give mercy to any person that comes his way. Koe will be a challenger to Aston when he learns how to defeat those without redemption.

Ved is an orphan who has always been into reading and writing. He grew up studying at the ‘College of Oriental Magic,’ but he always believed there could be a way to enhance people’s lives mainly through technology instead of magic. One day, he is greeted by the grand guardian, who explains that if he becomes a follower, he can help out many with new kinds of advanced technologies that the grand guardian possesses. This call motivates Ved to create technology to help people around the village. Following the grand guardian, he had to train to become a future mountain guardian. Ved is considered to be very cowardly, but he’ll grow to face his fears throughout his journey.

Born with a lazy nature, Javin was grown to be naturally fast and robust. Encouraged to participate in competitions, Javin has skillfully exceeded his contenders, mainly in race-related events. The problem is that he constantly doesn’t want to do anything unless he has the energy or is motivated to do so. Still, competing is not considered to be his priority. He is greeted by the grand guardian, who explains that he will be greatly rewarded if he becomes a follower and becomes a future mountain guardian. Even though he accepts mainly for the reward, he is still shown often laying off from given tasks. Javin’s growth will consist of stopping being so lazy.

The wise grand guardian is the last of the three mountain guardians standing. He guards the source of the mountain that protects the entire village and their land. He is motivated to seek and train the potential next generation of mountain guardians to look over the land.
